DarkChat have been fans of Naz Osmanoglu since seeing him as part of WitTank , with Mark Cooper-Jones and Kieran Boyd, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival a few years ago. Since then we have followed their solo projects with interest and managed to fit in 'The Naz Show' with it's convenient 14:45 time slot at The Caves.
A one man sketch comedy show is a challenging concept but Naz is up to the task, with clever use of pre-recorded clips
when several characters are called for. The sketches feature DarkChat favourites and some new characters, all delivered
with great speed, energy and warmth.
There is audience participation which is always funny and doesn't go too far, despite the outrageousness of some of the
performer's creations. The audience laughed, made animal noises on request and will never be able to hear a certain
Shania Twain song again without thinking of Naz.
Naz's show last year, 'Exposure', involved telling stories about his personal life which although very funny, left DarkChat
wondering whether we should stage an intervention, so we hope that his return to sketch comedy means he has had a
